I am still trying to resolve my winch issue. So I had a crack in the top of the winch. It was made from a non-metal material. I was pulling the line in with a slightly higher than horizontal angle when the top of the wince flipped off into the pacific. I am expecting a reply from Hutton winches. Any other ideas. I could replace both of the Barlow 19 inch winches with self tailing winches? What do you think?
Hi John You may have to call Hutton rather then wait for email but for replacement he would be the only commercial place. You regularly see second hand winches on either Gumtree or on the Facebook groups.
