14Jan, what a great sailing day with 15 yachts on the playa. Approaching storm saw conditions oppressive at first with the sun having a real kick. Really took it out of some, particularly those sailing Class 5 and mini. Wind generally moderate easterly moving north to north east at will making the sailing interesting, and dropped off completely a couple of times for a short while. Cloud cover rolled in mid afternoon.

Fantastic Memorial Day handicap event today. Steady 10 knot westerly shifted to 15 knots south west in the early afternoon and all pilots took full advantage. Some close finishes, with race 5 seeing the fleet finish inside 10 seconds first to last.
