This looks bad enough getting hit by that lip. Look what happens to the kite after though, and with the next wave bearing down I wonder how he got out of that situation.
great angle, I wondered the same, he actually popped out at 18sec so must have released, I've been pulled by my kite by big swell and the power is insane, cant imagine what JAWS would do to you if you missed the release.
