I have been out of the kiting scene for a few years (nearly 5 due to kids and building a house), but a couple of mates have showen some interest lately so i'm gonna get back into it. i still have a few pre 2005 C kites but want to get an SLE.
I live at Gumdale and usually rode at wello on 12 - 13m ckites (Co2, fuel or rhino over the years) , and have no idea what size SLE is suitable for a 1 kite quiver, to start with.

I know that it depends a bit on brands, but lets talk ball park, what size is the go? 9 - 10m or 11 - 12m?? I am about 80 - 85kg's (depending on how many beers i had last night) and will ride my old faithful 142FLX and go from there.

Cheers for any advise and see you down there.

hey mopz,

im 78kgs and used to only have 12m kites but have downsized to a 10m in the last six months. havent looked back since! i can get out in the same wind as i used to on my 12's and love how much faster they turn etc.
i have met quite a few people in the same situation.
