So I'm just wondering where are some of the better beginner locations on the Sunshine Coast? I'm in Caboolture, so normally trek down to Brighton, but wondering what else is available.
Also, what's lake weyba like? (The mrs dragged me along horse riding near there, and it looked amazing from the shore) Shallow? Logs? Best entry location? Wind direction?
Cheers

Golden beach is pretty good for beginners, depending on wind/tide.
Weyba is also good depending on wind but it's been years since I was last there.
There's no beach, so if on your own you may need to drift launch.
George from Noosa kite surf does lessons there, maybe give them a call for a heads up.

Andy, there are a few good spots around Briby. Sandstone point (SE) and Turners Camp (N).
