hey gys im from perth and will be spending 6 months on the east coast just trying to get some good places to check out for kite surfing and is this the best time for winds atm?? im buying a van so travel or time is no issue i want to go to them all :)

There is a link at the top left hand corner of this forum page that says "where to kite in SE QLD", click on that and it will show and give you the heads up about quite a number of spots in South East Queensland to Kite and some reference material to go with that. Other than that Miser gave you a pretty good brief rundown on many regions to Kite. It all depends where your going and what type of kiting your after to determine more specifics. Welcome to this neck of the woods when you get here and I'm sure you will have a blast of a time
