Hey guys, we did a kite from Brighton to Calloundra today (awesome and challenging). Anyone else done some longer tours? I am interested also is keen for some future trips.

Yes Moti Levi and a couple of other lads did a similar effort last year from the Seaway Spit to I believe the Northern tip of Bribie Island with some interesting stories of that voyage of encountering big noahs and footstraps breaking, other gear failures and Moti sailing off in the distance by himself accross the chanel from the North Tip of Straddie to Bribie and being the only lone Kiter to make it if my memory serves me correctly. But my hat would have to go off to the guys and gal that have kited accross fom between Tassy and Melbourne for over approximately 9 hours or so. Now that is Epic when it comes to long distance riding

Poor buggers that did the Tassie to Melbourne kite lost wind a couple of k's from shore and had to swim for the last 2 hours
