I heard someone mention Lake Cootharaba. Has anybody been kite boarding at the lake, and if so, whats the preferred wind direction. Any info for the lake would be good. Cheers

hey dude, i havn't been there but herd its great, told best wind is N, N/E. can't wait to go check it out. have fun might see you up there

You can also kite there on a east or southeast, bit gusty though.

I've kited there a few times - lotsa trees at launch beach - it's ok but has got nothing on a good creek/river mouth leading into the surf!
