Would love too but best kit I got for low winds is a Speed 3 12 and a twin tip, hope to see some windy weekends soon been waiting so long for the normal winds to return.

Caney Brighton can be terribly rough. But it can be pretty flat too, even right out in the bay. All depends on a combination of wind strength, direction, tide, and underlying bay swell (x factor?)

Suimike, got my race board yesterday. Have to learn to ride the thing now, but I'm keen to get into practise sessions and racing. Just have to be able to stay on it in all directions and I'm there. Of course last weekend was great, and today was minus 7 and westerly. Maybe tomorrow.

Not so bad once you get out the back and the race boards suprisingly handle chop really easy and smooth , and let's face it if you can press hard in those waves , you can handle anything .Moreton bay is shallow and it's well renowned for it's short sharp chop.

Come down to Brighton on Sunday ,all the usual race crew should be there and BKC is putting on free BBQ and Briskites and Kitepower will have some new toys on the beach for us to play with.

Everyone welcome

Brighton and Sandgate get a bounce back off the rock wall when the tide is above 1.7, during these times I head out between woody point and eventide.. Glorius!
