Last seen drifting north from Leighton dog beach. It is black and white, 10.5, lines and bar attached. Reward offered. 0411 614 012

To anyone that loses their kite at sea it is always a good idea to inform the Water Police (93354511) and let them know.

Thanks for making the public have even more ammunition to get the sport banned. Well done. Whats the story behind you 'abandoning your kite'????????????????????/

Van Hazel - At what point did you notify the coastguard?! How on earth did you lose your kite in the first place??? Do you know how to self rescue? Do you think you should be liable for the cost of the coastguard search and rescue and if not why??

Saw this kite on saturday while I was kiting, did a couple of passes trying to work out how I might be able to drag it back to shore (about 200m).
Kite was leading edge in water with one wing tip folded over by one of the lines.

only way I would have attempted if i did not have my board so had both hands free to body drag it in.

could not see the owner on the beach and was kiting alone so gave up.

Any one ever had to rescue an abandoned kite and lines before?
