Just seen this in that awesome killedthewind vid. What's this trick called?

I'm a confirmed windsurfer but this is the most amazing kitsurfing thing I've seen and I am totally blown away by it.

hahahahaha. Man it's funny how people blow up about the simplest things.
It's called a butterslide and is actually surprisingly easy to do, especially hooked in and even more so in straps.

Its just called a butterslide or butter for short

.

Here's a tutorial;
1. Turn 90 degrees.
2. Lean over.
3. Make a whole video dedicated to it.

Yeah saw that vid and was thinking...

Maybe not the most technical trick but it does look good when done with a little style.

Like Rodney Mullen's old flatland skate tricks. Crazy style.

Yeah I agree it can look pretty cool when done well.
Rodney's flatland skate tricks cannot really be compared though, because they are super technical, a lot of pro skaters still can't do the things he was doing back in the day.
