Hey puppet, that machine is classic, So much better than A H ardly D rivable motorbike. What engine, a rotary? what capacity, how heavy? Looks just big enough to rescue a kite and board on and float the rider. Did you buy it or was it a demo at the boat show.

With the season we have had so far, why not.... I could use it for drop-net crabbing in the mandurah estruary too. Does it have a death-leash?

17K for a good jetski, good question, puppet how much? you sit a lot lower so you wouldnt get tipped sideways, when rescuing someone. A decent Cheaper??? rescue craft.

Be great for vids on flattish water if you can steer and accelerate with one hand.

Total weight is about 80kgs. All at the engine end - front is light as.
Two man job unless you have a set of dolly wheels. We will have a balloon tyre cradle that will also push up onto our trailer or our roof rack.
Once its near waters edge its a very easy one man job to get it out on the water.

We will be installing a stainless steel mesh 'line guard' over the intake port to prevent lines from screwing the impellar. This will probably cost quite a lot of performance but you dont need to do 60kph when ur using it for work.
Might just make it removable for hooning sessions.

As you can guess Im pretty stoked with this new little 'toy'. Oops I mean 'tool'

Take all the pressure off kiters who currently hold the 'most hated' crown.
Does the fact that a hell of a lot of beach users hate kiters make the haters right ???

why on earth would you not just use a rubber ducky ( surf club style ) with a 25hp .........

it will be cheaper than that thing
safer than that thing and a jet ski
you can carry gear in a ducky.........
and ......you can actually rescue someone...and heaven forbid provide cpr or any other medical help that may be required.

I cant see a noob being able to drag themselves out of the water onto the back of a jetski if they are injured, or there is any sort of swell or you have boards and kites.

after watching that video I have a sudden urge to eat tacos and wear a poncho. . . . . . .

I love when you get a tool who sits 10-15m further out the back and tries to claim every wave. I just sit next to them on my 9 foot mal, out paddle them and out manouvre them. They drop in on you once, then they get pushed off the wave next time. A 9 foot mal will out paddle them due to stroke rate easily.

Funniest thing I ever saw at triggs point was an altercation between a "local" on a goatboat. After a drop in on a local shortboarder, who was also a MMA instructor, the goater poked his board with his paddle and dinged it, the guy on his 6'2 grabbed the paddle and turtled him and proceeded to give him uppercuts underwater for about 30 seconds. Mr goat was fully strapped in and could do nothing..

Needless to say he surfed/goated Mettams from then on.
