We have the phenomenon that every year happens. Surfers make room for the kitesurfers in Indonesia. This happens in May when wind is turning from Off-shore to Cross-onshore. Best Months are June and July and August.

Everyone knows that Sumatra has quality waves. From a left hander to the right hander and not to forget the A-frame. The left will always work. That is why we have more people kitesurfing finding the way to this little place what is already famous for its surfing.

I can describe the place as relaxed, beach-life, great wind, and a lot of fun on the waves. So enjoy!

One thing Yudi doesn't mention - his ability to get some of the best Sumatran coffee beans around....brought back 6kg last year - we could smell our bags coming off the plane
