Hello just wondering if anyone would be up for a semi organised old school kite day in Perth. Location to be determined depending on numbers, preferences etc.
The concept:
Everyone come along on their oldest kite (or favourite oldest kite) if you still have some. Have a bit of an informal comp with divisions for kite age. Eg Pre 2005, Early Bows, 2005-2007.
Chance to try some old kites for those that are interested.
Ideas? WAKSA perhaps this could become an annual thing?

Love the idea but......
- Guaranteed most injuries of any kiting event;
- Only half the people on the water as most people will struggle to stay upwind, I doubt if I know how to edge that hard anymore!!!
Pre-4 line - does that include the solid framed kites that was going around in the 90's

Build it and they will come!
pick a date. spray the date and location over the forums.
Viola. Instant kite event.
the more outlaw you can have it the better. no entry fees nothing. just turn up at the beach and rock your old gear.
then if it all goes pear shaped. pull a hommer simpson whisple and exit stage left.

Anyone have Bridle measurements for the Naish 7m AR3.5 (99/2000)? I still have mine and want to put it back to 2 line but have lost the bridle. Better yet - anyone have a bridle for it?
