Looking for your opinions, just wondering if any one out there changed the rear quad fins on a Nugget, any performnace gains or loss?

Hey Puetz can't comment on the nugget but just recently put MUCH larger front fins in my quad which I was having trouble with getting upwind in lighter conditions, has completely transformed the board in drive and upwind ability but only marginally stiffened it, and well worth the expense and time of doing it, so pretty stoked... Was going to move the old front ones to the rear but after the performance gain didn't worry about it, no doubt it would provide more drive if thats what you're after. I did a recent post on fin performance with some good comments on there which led me to trial the fins, so imo well worth trialling.

Logically thinking about it now it all looks obvious now!

The pivot turn is alot more tighter compared to the older version Nugget and its the fins that help. It can really snap back and forth,,, actually got me out of trouble dodging some steep sections so I could run away getting out the back.

I reckon had I put the straps on I probably would go head first into them so no need to dodge so quickly.
