I'd feel a bit nervous about squishing the whole thing down with my knee like that, worried the one pump tube clamps or other bits might damage the canopy.

You roll it and fold and roll it again layer upon layer upon layer

The rest is just a bald guy that thinks he has hair to wear sunnies like that.

This has been around a loooong time (much shorter version):

When I bought my Naish Rides (couple of years ago) they came folded like this out of the box so I didnt have any problems folding them. North kites have a deflate on the tip so its easy to roll from one end to the other - especially in high winds

Did this dude seriously talk for almost 10 mins on folding a kite??

i skipped through it and seems like he did. Surely there was something else.

To save on making a video he could have just said,

"fold kite in half then roll up."

I recon, to stop wear in the same spots all the time to vary the way you pack it down. roll for a bit. Then fold and then stuff. repeat

Why do you need to fold your kite this small? never had a problem in the last nine years using the traditional method.
