Well been at it 5 days and has last count 9 kites. My 39 yr old body is in severe pain, I'm finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning. Please stop blowing.
That being said the forecast is dropping off after tomoz, so don't rush up here, gero, carnarvon, gnarloo latitude will be giving better returns. Hopefully it kicks back in after Thursday for ya.
Bring ya big kites as well, I'm yet to use my 6, been on the 10 and 12 swapping between the sector, mutant and shin monk. Even today was still on the 10 but I do like to be heavily powered.
Found a nice outer break from a downwinders we did a yesterday. Pm me and I'll tell ya where it is. No secret really but you know how it is.
Today was more southerly with big holes in it, but the south westers are really consistent. Not balls to the walls, just nice. Swell has dropped to. Three days ago was the best of it. But hopefully the cycle will swing back around for ya.
Oh yeh pack a spring suite as well, the water is colder than what ya think its not hot up here yet.
Ps my bro and I will be doing a few gero trips to bridge the month gap between here and when it kicks in metro, so will catch up with ya then cauncy hey.
cheers epp, yeh just sorting my gear out for the trip boat ,sup,kites, kayaks,dive gear etc, yeh hoping its gonna blow last time i was up there i kited and fished an island 30miles out in the gulf awsome spot, it blew that hard i had pink and greys taking cover in my boat, im a pom so the water aint an issue but thanks for the heads up, did the secretish break end with an s , yeh for sure come up with y brother we,ll do some adventure kiting , were a pretty chilled lot up here, weve even been known to have a beer with the poleys after a biggy, have a safe one its silly season on the roads
