I just download one of waveslave's rants, put it on a USB stick, and plug that into the USB adaptor on my kite. The hot air blows it up in no time.
Lol great line

Well even as a passionate nonsense innovator, I see limited options for a no-pump.
Getting the air in always involves effort, which has to be put in by yourself or some sort of machinery. The most innovative way would prolly be a battery driven compressor, which gives you several more or less environmental friendly options to load up the battery:
- Solar panels.
- A windmill on the roof. If it is windy and you can't kite, you are still stoked as hell because the battery is loaded.
-Plug it onto your spinning bike at the gym, where energy is wasted anyways. After an hour of pedaling to techno music, motivated by the chick's as$ in front of you, the battery is good to pump up some 16m kites.
On a more serious note, one dude designed a non-inflatable with carbon sticks for LE and struts, but I haven't seen him doing kiteloops with that construction.
