just watched this I can't believe he has only been kiting 2 and a bit years Austrlalian talent that we should be proud of keep up the great riding Andy!!!
Good stuff there Andy, brings back some good memories of Cape Town. I surfed there quite a bit and also in J-bay before kiting was invented. Would love to go back and kite there.
Nice to see the Sunshine Coast producing such good riders. That 1 second shot of a Carling Black label brings back a shiver down the spine....
lol yeah keeping the kite low and doing the pullup. i noticed that too. either way he rips. sweet riding Andy looks like your really doing good for yourself!
man i guess in the end ya gotta do what ya gotta do to make some money and be international. maybe one day the focus will change, andy has got it sussed by the looks of things, props to him.
I wish my parents would have bought me lessons and kit as a kid, the spoilt brat. Very, very jealous Good to see a local lad doing so good, well done mate.
Well done Andy! Your double pass actually looks ok. Over time, maybe we will all discover that kiting (any form of it) emulates life, we can never know all of it and the progression is endless, and while we are here have fun!
A well spoken young fella too that manages more than a grunt in conversation .That and his riding in such a short time are doing himself and his sponsors proud. Well done Andy
I have watched Andy progress since his first lesson in 2006. Within 2 weeks he was nailing s-bends and raileys in both directions.
What you see now is the result of excellent parental support and some bloody hard work and practice from Andy. He's always quick to help other kids progress and shows no arrogance. Once his physique matures and he gets stronger he will be more awesome.
I hope he goes well in PKRA and gives Hadlow a run for his money.
