I was the other lucky to get a brand new 2011 6m Park for $100, thanks to windgenuity. Surely beats the second hand ones going for $400+

All the second hand prices you see on here are way out of line.
Anything that is fairly priced sell instantly, just like houses.

But that problem arises as soon as you purchase, $2000 plus is your standard price for an up to date kite, so you'd like to think you'd get $1500 after a season, IMO you'd be lucky to get a thousand, considering most have 3 kite quivers that's a decent loss, Doesn't help when brands are shoving it up your arse that this years kite is so much better than last, how can something be the superb quality when it's getting changed year after year,
