I dont often write on the forum, but I felt the need to mention some good people. I was at Botany on Sunday and just having a shocker of a day. I managed to flip a guys kite during to launch the wrong way tangling his lines and then dropped my kite over another kiters lines in the water causing a massive tangle requiring the rescue from a passing boat.

I have been kiting for long enough to know better on both counts. Both guys, Mira and Richie were gentlemen about it. They could have both got annoyed but they didn't. Good people. Thanks for you patients guys. Will endeavour to make less silly mistakes in the future.

One thing I have learnt is that what comes around goes around.

Sunday afternoon with a stonking northerly I randomly chucked my gear in the car and headed down to Park Beach at Coffs. I pulled up and checked the conditions and then ran back to the car to get my gear...I was pretty pissed when I realised that I had left my bar and lines at home. Sunday is the only day I get off from work, so I was pretty annoyed. Anyway a bloke in the car park heard me slaming doors and generally being cranky when I was packing my stuff up, and came over to ask what the problem was.

His reply to my story was:

"ah never mind mate, Ive got a spare Cab bar and lines in the car, you can borrow it if you like"

I was stoked! How good it that!

Gak! Pah!

BLUE MOON!? You'd have to be a gumby to drink that stuff GF!!

As for the rest of you... remember that you now owe an act of kindness to someone else.
