After a windsurf today i had 2 pints at the pub.
I have been going to my pub for ten years never been pulled over tonight i was pulled over but blew under. Im still shaking. Made me relisze i have to much to loose by loosing my lisence. My job my windsurfing etc.
There was that thought in my mind id blow over.
So anyone who gets behind the wheel fair warning the pigs will find you.
You cant get away with anything nowdays.
Dont ever Drink Drive.
Dont learn the hard way all you young folk.

The 30 seconds it took for the police to pull me over and breathe test me was enough of a scare.

Been off the grog for over a month, (bar the odd bottle of ginger beer). I read something by Thich Nhat Hanh a little while back that hit a chord. He made the comment that a person cannot live mindfully when under the influence of alchohol.

Never a truer word spoken.

Isn't that the whole point of alcohol and other mind affecting drugs? To live mindlessly.

^ Excellent point! Problem is it effects others. Mum died of alchoholism and my ex is a reformed one.

I started watching that very early this morning and could not see it through. Squeamish in my old age. Like the video of the cow with half a head. Who the **** would stop and video something like that ? My immediate reaction would be to find the farmer so it could be put out of it's misery as soon as possible!

Thanks for posting that. Amazing video. Pleased you didn't get busted. More pleased you have seen the seriousness of the issue.

Errrrm. At what point did you think it was a good idea to drink two pints of beer and drive home from the pub? 1 litre? A quarter of a gallon? What were you thinking? That's 5-6 standard drinks.

I know i think next time i will just have a diet coke in a bourbon glass so it appears im having a drink but im really not.
For the sake of $16.50 worth of beer i could of lost my liscence.
I was pretty sure i was over aswell to be honest. Im probllly the only one that was in the pub still sober and the car park was full.
First time in about 4 years i have been pulled over.
