Hi Guys, I had my car stolen from trigg 3rd carpark about a month ago, what a hassle, as it was my work car and im self employed. Just wanting to know about the surf locks that are around, has anyone found them good or bad? I ask because everytime im in the water now i cant help but think bad thoughts.
My lock lasted about six months. it does not lock at all anymore and not sure how long it wasnt locking properly before i realised. Im glad noone gave it a crack.
When having a surf key cut the locksmith warned me about putting that key in the ignition mistakenly as it can cause the ignition to lock which may be expensive to repair not to mentionthe hassle I bought a surf lock as I just don't trust my memory

Mine started to corrode so I blasted it with CRC and is fine now, needs another blast but it works fine still
I use to put my key in my leggie pocket or the little one inside my wettie when i had the old falcon wagon but the bloody big new electronic keys have put a stop to that.

Yep they are a pain! If only they were water proof!! The ones that are a draw style that pull out from the square hitch are the best, my old padlock is going stong still, must 5 years old now..
