1.6m wobby...that's embarrassing.

They are ambush predators though, and very territorial. I've caught a few when fishing, and dived next to a 2.7m one (whilst it was asleep!)

From what I've been told, they're one of only a few sharks that if grabbed by their tail, can reach around & bite you. In saying that, it would've given him a bit of a fright, although an adult person (70+kgs) should be able to fend off a 5-6ft wobby (prob about 40kgs).

Or touching you...kelp, seaweed, stood on a few eagle-rays too...good for instant heart-rate increase!

Haha, never seen that. I wonder if I always have my eyes closed? I have often wondered if I breathe when on a wave too, I can never remember. They never last long enough to think about it.
