1.6m wobby...that's embarrassing.

They are ambush predators though, and very territorial. I've caught a few when fishing, and dived next to a 2.7m one (whilst it was asleep!)
From what I've been told, they're one of only a few sharks that if grabbed by their tail, can reach around & bite you. In saying that, it would've given him a bit of a fright, although an adult person (70+kgs) should be able to fend off a 5-6ft wobby (prob about 40kgs).
