Fernandez looks to be firing on all four cylinders at baby beach, which doesn't look too dissimilar to his home break in spain - give or take a few degrees, and the colour of the water!

With the World Tour well underway for the world's hottest slalom and freestyle sailors, we're now just eagerly awaiting the start of the wave tour, which will kick off in the Canary Islands in a few weeks time.

With a winter training programme that included Cape Town, Matanzas, and of course Maui, it looks like Fernandez has a good chance of standing on the podium at the end of this year. We expect his rivals to be keeping a close eye on him - start by watching the video...
