What do American Rednecks think of Stand Up Paddling?

This has got to be one of the funniest first reactions to stand up paddling we've ever seen. Maybe it's because these guys are just massive bogans, or possibly they're all a little overwhelmed by their current circumstances (they're fishing in the Hamptons) - but this is just priceless.

Right now the Hamptons are enjoying quite the tourism boom due to that new TV show called Revenge. Not that they needed it; the Hamptons is one of, if not THE richest areas in the USA. In fact their cost of living is 168% higher than in the rest of the USA and median house price is just a touch under $900,000 USD.

Why does this matter? Well Stand up paddle boarding us currently the latest trend in the cashed up seaside area. SUP schools are popping up all over the place, and all kinds of wealthy big names are sweeping their way up and down the Long Island coastline throughout summer.

Anyway - back to the rednecks...

Across the road from the store is Pelican park and Bells beach, which are the perfect locations for flying kites and practising all kinds of watersports...
