Jamie Mitchell goes NUTS with a 1ft swell on a SUP board.

Jamie's over in the US at the moment
Let this serve as a reminder to all the stand up paddle surfers out there, that even when it looks small and slow, you can actually have a great time on the water. All you need is a little motivation, maybe a mate or two and a SUP board.

If it's good enough for Jamie Mitchell, then what's your excuse? Mitchell's just back from a short stint in Maui, and is now in the USA doing a bit of training, a bit of sight seeing and even a little board testing. He's spent time cruising all over the place in the US, and is currently in Long beach, California. Before that though, he spent a little bit of time in Montauk, New York where he shot this little video.

Don't expect big barrels, aerials or even and huge cutbacks... But it is a bit of fun with some light hearted moves thrown in the mix. Remember! Next time you peek over the dunes to see a 1ft dribble... Don't go home and play Xbox, get out there and go for a paddle!

Opening in August 2007, Kitepower Australia Queensland, or KPQ, is the newest addition to the Kitepower chain. In September 2011, KPQ moved a few blocks down the road to a newly refurbished shopfront. The move allowed the shop to expand into other watersports like stand-up paddling and wakeboarding, as well as beachwear and toys. Across the road from the store is Pelican park and Bells beach, which are the perfect locations for flying kites and practising all kinds of watersports...
