VS 15' Skiff 66th National Championship, King Island, South Australia. Day 4 races (after Lay Day): Wednesday was a well timed lay day for crews and skiffs to rest and reset after the stronger wind races, the fleet was ready to go again. As Regattas unfold all sailors and Race Officials know they are in the hand of 'Hughie' the wind god, so to ensure good all round performance he sent the course a 0 ? 5 knot swinging ENE very light breeze. With calm flat water the conditions would be a great leveller for the fleet, old and new ...
