Wind conditions are expected to be reasonable in strength for the early stages of the Auckland Noumea Race. However the wind direction will move around before settling into the south west and increasing in strength on Monday - giving a fast ride on the 975nm course.

As predicted earlier in the week, winds at the start will be quite light not really settling in for 24 hours, The start is expected to be in headwinds, which will remain for much of the early stages of the race.
