Doyle Sails has bolstered its internationally respected design team in Auckland, New Zealand, signing up renowned helmsman and trimmer Justin Ferris. Justin has been involved with three Volvo Ocean Races, racing with Pirates of the Caribbean and Puma Ocean Racing as well as being involved with some of the worlds top racing programmes including Wild Oats XI, Speedboat, Rambler and Konica Minolta amongst others. Justin began his sail-making career in the Bay of Island (NZ) in 1991 under the guidance of Simon Willis, and completed his sail-making apprenticeship before heading off to work in the US.
