David Hay to the AIMEX board replacing Steve Taylor whose role within Nuplex had changed making him ineligible to stay on the board.

Alistair Murray Chairman of AIMEX thanked Steve for all the effort and support he had given to AIMEX over the years and wished him well in his future role. Alistair said it was important to have new people coming onto the board, particular someone with David's industry experience.

The AIMEX board looks forward to working with David in increasing export sales within the marine industry.

FGI is a long term AIMEX member and a major supplier for the marine industry.

David Hay has worked in the composites industry for 20 years and has been with Nuplex since May 1987, when he joined Fibre Glass International in a technical sales and marketing role. B

efore joining FGI he was working in South Korea on a joint venture with a large Korean boat building firm to manufacture craft for the Seoul Olympics.

David was promoted to NSW State Manager of FGI in 1997 and became Business Manager of Nuplex Special Resins in July 2001.

Now as General Manager of FGI he is committed to maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of the business.

FGI is a long-time sponsor of AIMEX and in particular the key networking function held at the Sydney International Boat Show. FGI has been involved on the AIMEX stand at METS, IBEX, Dubai and China ensuring that their global profile is significant.
