Baier and Wallmer in battle for A-Cat European title

'A-CAT European Championship 2009, Lake Constance' . ?

Bob Baier of Germany and Sascha Wallmer of Switzerland are tied on 17 points in the lead of the A-Cat European Championship at YC Rheindelta on Lake Constance going into the final day, with Australian Scott Anderson waiting in the wings.

Australian Scott Anderson has slipped from third to eighth after race five on Friday, but carries a black flag penalty as the discards have not been applied yet. Without the penalty he would be back in contention for the title.

Georg Reutter GER was the winner of race five and is in third place overall.

Mitch Booth of the Netherlands is another top sailor with a BFD penalty he will hope to drop, he is in 18th place. Chris Field of Britain is in ninth overall.
