For weeks on end competitors had to deal with extremely light and patchy airs in the Audi Winter Series on Sydney Harbour - then last week they were made to sit up and take notice as gusty winds that peaked at 22 knots hit the race area - very different to this week's gift of a perfect day's sail. Race 8 of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia organised series could not have been better.
