Alinghi won again both races in the ACC regatta and this means that the Swiss team is the overall winner of the 2nd Desaf?o Espa?ol, CNEV's annual regatta.

At the end of the day, almost one hundred boats from over 20 yacht clubs have participated in the races.

In the ACC class, Alinghi showed the rest why is the best sailing team in the World. The Swiss won both races, followed by Luna Rossa. The Italian team also sailed very well this weekend with a brand new afterguard.

The best fight of the day involved Team Origin and Desafio Espa?ol for third place. The Spanish team got to the race course eager to win and got to be first at the first cross. Unfortunately, ESP 97 lost that position and ended fourth and third respectively.

Ben Ainslie has shown he can be fast on any boat and that he and his mates at the British team will be a very tough contender in the future.

Final overall results after 6 races:

1. Alinghi (3-1-1-1-1-1), 8 points

2. Luna Rossa (2-4-2-2-2-2), 14 points

3. Team Origin (1-3-4-3-3-4), 18 points

4. Desaf?o Espa?ol (4-2-3-4-4-3), 20 points
