Just to remind you that the 2009 Huon Tasmanian Salmon Port Esperance Regatta event-manager.compete-at.com/PESC> will be on again this Easter April 10-12.

A Notice of Race will be finalised soon. In the meantime I can advise that this year's regatta will include:

* The three race Huon Tasmanian Salmon series for racing keel-boats, comprising the Channel Distance Race, Skippers Dinghy Race and William Jackson Memorial Cup Race.

* A separate two-race series for Cruisers - Channel Distance Race and Sunday Classic & Cruising Race

* A combined keel boat feeder race from Kettering on Good Friday 10 April.

* An expanded six race series for off-the-beach boats - three races each on Saturday and Sunday.

* One-Design divisions for Sabres and Sabots in the combined OTB fleet. On request we will have additional OD divisions if at least five boats are available.

* Highly experienced PRO Jeremy Firth will look after the racing with hopefully separate start lines for the keel-boat and OTB fleets.

* The usual fine food and beverages.

* Leanne McLean (the Diva from Dover) will be performing on Saturday night with a blues and roots band on Sunday.

We are negotiating with the Huon Valley Council to allow expanded camping on the foreshore and are investigating the provision of large temporary moorings to allow for rafting up of keel-boats.
