PKRA - PKRA 2012 Season

This year will be another exciting season on the PKRA World Tour for the cream of kite boarding competing all around the world once again. The final schedule of the 2012 season will be released on January 20th with yet another very diversified agenda.

During the Final event of the 2011 PKRA World Tour in New Caledonia, all of you had the chance to vote for your favorite rider by watching the People’s Heat on the live page of the PKRA:

We are happy to announce the winner of the People’s Choice Heat: (FRA, RRD) wins over the 2011 World Champion (NED, Slingshot) who is entitled to receive a special price consisting of a complementary double accommodation at the Royal Terra Beach Resort for the 2012 Noumea Kitesurf Pro, and free registration for the first event of the 2012 PKRA tour. Congratulations to Sebastien and Youri for the amazing riding done at these special event!

In addition GINGER partnered with the PKRA and to sponsor the People’s Choice Giveaway. The random winner selected from all the fans participating in the giveaway was Mallorie Haux from New Caledonia who wins a Kahoona V3 Kite! PKRA congratulates Mallorie, and thanks to all the fans that participated in the People’s Choice. PKRA is currently developing the new live scoring system that will be used in 2012, which will enhance the competition and at the same time bring all the fans closer to the action.
