WA rec anglers reminded of new licensing laws

Western Australia's recreational anglers are being reminded they now need a recreational fishing from a boat licence (RFBL) if they fish from a powered vessel anywhere in Western Australia.

The RFBL, announced in October 2009 as part of a number of recreational fishing changes, will cost $30 annually.

Licences can be purchased from Australia Post outlets, online from the Department of Fisheries website and from Department of Fisheries offices.
