The Barbados Cruising Club and sponsors of the Mount Gay Rum Round Barbados Race were delighted to welcome Hasley C. Herreshoff to Barbados where he raced on board Schooner Elena in the 75th Anniversary 2011 Mount Gay Rum Round Barbados Race that took place on January 21st 2011. Halsey C. Herreshoff is President of Herreshoff Designs, Inc of Bristol, Rhode Island. He is the grandson of Captain Nathanael G. Herreshoff and son of Sidney and Becky Herreshoff, founders of the Herreshoff Marine Museum, which Halsey also served as president of for nearly forty years. Halsey is a graduate of the ...
