Grant Headifen again brings this week's sailing tip: If you already know how to heave to, here's the small tip that could come in handy if you are, for instance, simply stopped for lunch: When heaving to, and if you have the choice, do it so that your boat is on a starboard tack. This way you are the 'Stand-on' vessel in an approaching situation with other sailboats. A small tip, but could be an important one.
