Infinity 76 - Superwing
Slingshot Infinity 76. Probably the easiest wing to learn on
Superfun in lighter winds in any size swell for more advanced riders - a classic "do-everything" wing.

I reckon if you want a long-lasting inexpensive foil to learn and progress on, the SS Hoverglide Infinity 76 is it

First Foil Session Scheduled Tomorrow
Not sure if there will be enough wind tomorrow. Wind forecasted to be 5-7 mph gusting to 10 mph. 60*F air temps and a cold 42*F water temp. The warmest day here in Oregon yet this year, so I have to try it. I put a rear foot strap on as a handle for carring the board from shore too water. I inserted an Allen wrench in strap shown in this pic to check Tuttle bolts while on water, and will attach my leash from foil too foot strap as well, so the strap has some purpose. Wish me luck!

Longer fuselage for stability
Starboard racing fuselage is apparently 115 cm that is significantly longer than the other foils and this was suggested to add stability in foiling. I am using Infinity 84 cm with fuselage of 78 cm (that is still shorter with added foil front piece). As a beginner, I am now able consistently foil but hovering low and high with occasional surface touching. I would like to keep steady height rather than going up and down. I am curious if anyone tried or made a longer fuselage with Hoverglide Infinity set-up (or other brands) to see if extended fuselage is adding more stability.

Freeride board for foiling
I'm wondering what people think about using a freeride fin board for foiling. I'm a beginner but really would want a board that I could grow with. I don't want the easiest board to learn on if it means I'd want a new one a year later. The freeride board I'm thinking of would be a 116L JP Super Ride or Super Sport, but really it could be any free ride with around 110-120L, 68cm wide, probably 235 Cm long and foil ready.

Another idea would be a Slingshot Wizard 125L.

I hope to maximize TOW, use it for 10 knots to 18 knots. I'm not very interested in freestyle and I don't live near surf.

Thanks
